About the event
Learning chess alongside leadership principles equips both teens and adults with a structured way to think, decide, and act with intention. Chess develops critical cognitive skills such as strategic planning, pattern recognition, patience, and the ability to anticipate consequences—skills that directly translate into real-life leadership. When paired with leadership principles like accountability, adaptability, and vision, individuals learn not only how to make better decisions, but how to lead themselves and others effectively under pressure. For teens, this combination builds confidence, discipline, and emotional control during formative years; for adults, it sharpens decision-making, resilience, and long-term thinking in personal and professional environments. Ultimately, chess becomes more than a game—it becomes a practical training ground for mastering the mindset and behaviors required for impactful leadership.
Chess sessions ONLY are free for youth 12 and below.
Chess sessions ONLY for teens (13-17) are $10 each session, for adults $20
