Take Calculated Risks - Week 39

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 11:6 (NKJV)

"In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good."

In chess, you cannot win by simply protecting your pieces. At some point, you must make a move that creates an opportunity. Sometimes that means advancing a pawn, sacrificing position, or attacking before you know exactly how the game will unfold. The key is not taking reckless risks, but calculated risks.

Life and leadership work the same way. Ecclesiastes 11:6 reminds us to keep sowing, working, and taking action because we do not always know which opportunity will produce the greatest result. Growth requires faith, preparation, and movement.

A calculated risk means you study the board before making the move. Consider the potential reward, understand the possible consequences, seek wisdom, and then have the courage to act.

Ask yourself this week: What opportunity have I been avoiding because I am waiting for everything to be perfect?

You may not control the outcome, but you can control your preparation, effort, and willingness to move.
